Virtual Compute Node Management
Once you have created a Virtual Compute Node, you can access and manage your virtual compute nodes from My Account Portal dashboard features. Go to your E2E Networks ‘My Account’ portal to access the dashboard. The number of Virtual Compute Nodes created will be visible on the Launch tab. Click to access the list of available nodes or to create another.
Manage your VCN's
On the next screen manage your Virtual Compute Nodes using the dashboard.You can see the summary & status of all your Virtual Compute Nodes.
Save Image
To save an image of a respective Virtual Compute Node it must be powered down. Once the respective Virtual Compute Node is powered down click on the ‘Save Image’ button and create a name of your node image. You will see a message “Your image is being saved this may take a while”. Note - All the management operations will be disabled on this node while the function is being performed. To access the saved image, go to nodes and click on create VCN button

Power Off
Click on the Power Off button to Switch Off your virtual compute node. It will take a couple of minutes to turn Off your virtual compute node. All the management operations will be disabled on this node till while the function is being performed. (Note - You will be billed for a powered off node as you still hold the resources of your virtual compute node.)
Reboot
Click on the Reboot button to Restart your virtual compute node. It will take a few minutes to restart your virtual compute node.
Terminate
Click on the Delete button to delete your virtual compute node instance. Terminating a virtual compute node will delete all the data on it.
You can click the “refresh” button after a few minutes to confirm the status of the operations performed on your Virtual Compute Nodes.

Reinstall
At any time you can clean your server and reinstall a clean OS rather than creating a new virtual compute node. Click on the reinstall button to place your new, clean virtual compute node. A confirmation notification will appear “Are you sure you want to reinstall OS”. Click Ok to proceed and the state will change to ‘Starting Up’. After a couple of minutes, your virtual compute node will be re-installed and ready for use.
Note: If you had data on your original VCN then your data will be lost upon virtual compute node re-installation.
VNC Console
The users can easily access their Virtual Compute Nodes from an SSH access. However, sometimes a situation could arise which declines the user to access their VCN's.A VNC console is available to provide you a direct access to your nodes regardless of your settings.This feature comes to aid in situations such as to log in, revert bad settings, and regain control. It emulates the access like you are directly interacting with an actual server present in front of you. Click on the VNC Console button for Console access.
This option loads a viewer in your browser that allows you to access your server.Click on the console screen and press ENTER to ensure that the login prompt has focus. You will be prompted to enter your root login access credentials.
Once you get access you can reset any misbehaving configuration files or services in order to restore access.
