Dual Administrative Access to servers from E2E Networks

Dual Administrative Access to servers from E2E Networks

If you are a managed client at E2E Networks, we would like to highlight the following points regarding the ownership of Operating Systems, Databases and hardware:
  • In order to maintain clear responsibilities, E2E Networks should retain the administrative or root access to the Operating System, Database and Network devices. This should not be shared with the clients in normal cases.
  • Clients can be given limited access to the Operating System, Database or Network via a read-only user whenever required to manage their applications through SSH or RDP.
  • In case the clients need to have the root or administrative access to the server along with E2E Networks, we would not be in a position to be held accountable if any change results in decreased performance or downtime on the server as then it becomes difficult to assign the changes to a particular party. In such cases, all the parties having root access would be responsible for uptime and ensured performance of the server.
We are present at managed-support@e2enetworks.com for any queries regarding this.
